351/2 weeks

Sorry we have been slack in putting up some pictures. The baby is well and healthy, and so is mom. It looks like the baby wants out really badly, kicking and wigling to the point where Rusha's stomach looks like a sea of waves as the baby adjusts and moves to get comfortable, especially after a big meal! It even gets hiccups :)

At this point the due date is still September 28th. We'll try to keep every one updated.

29 Weeks

We have officially entered the third trimester which means that we have less than 12 weeks to go. Rusha's belly has popped and the little chiclet moves around all the time. The baby has weathered a move to Golden and helped paint its room bright green. Rusha is no longer biking but still can run (with lots of stares) and swim.
It's quite amazing to not only feel, but see, the burrito move inside Rusha. You can feel it's butt, legs, and watch her belly move up and down, in and out, as the baby shadow boxes, kicks, and shakes it's booty.

25 weeks and growing

Wow, how much things change every week. This maybe a few weeks behind already and yet, look at that BELLY! We are now 25 weeks in and all is good on the western shore. Rusha is healthy, but even she, must slow down a bit. Its getting harder to ride a bike, a little more winded to swim and run, and sometimes, even completing a long sentence can take her breath away. Just think where how big her lungs are right now, where does the body put all that stuff?!

XXII weeks

The paparazzi just wont let up! Rusha's belly is showing up everywhere, and, like a bulb, planted in the spring, has blossomed into a beautiful tulip.

Week 20 (19.5 really)

We recently got our 20 week US, the funnest one, and the last one you get. This is the Us where they measure and look at everything, bones, internal organs, chambers of the heart and brain. Most exciting, they turn some of the images into 3D images, and you can start to really get a feel for what the little one is going to look like, and as expected, he's got the face of a god, the eyes of aristotle, the legs of an olympian, and the heart of a warrior. The brain was too big to fit on the US, so we couldn't get a good look.

16 weeks

No US pics this visit, we'll have to wait until week 20 for those, but here are some mommy and daddy pics, as you can see, dad is trying to pick up the slack, enjoy!

I've been working out a bit in the basement.

12 weeks in

And so our adventure continues. We are now 12 weeks in and the baby seems healthy and growing. The due date still stands at september 28th, 2011, however, the US age puts him about a week prior to that. It could also be a big baby, which does not bode well for Rusha's pelvis, however, it's still too early to really know. We also had a doppler with a healthy heart rate of around 152 beats per minute. right on target. And so we are on schedule and healthy.



Mother is healthy, and so is daddy in case you are wondering. She is a little more tired, a little more hungry, and daddy is sympathizing with her on all fronts. Enjoy the pictures below.

They had to wait for the baby to turn around to get some measurements, so Rusha got to see the baby flip around
